Chester Bedell (January 19-21; 14 teams 7 schools): Florida wins over Florida. Semi-finalists were St. Thomas (FL) and Florida International. Quarter-finalists were Florida International, Stetson, St. Thomas (FL), and Florida State.

Capital City Challenge (March 1-4; 24 teams): Campbell wins over Stetson. Denver and Temple were semi-finalists. Baylor, Chicago-Kent, Howard, and UC Davis were quarter-finalists.

Florida State Civil (March 2-4; 10 teams): St. John’s wins over FordhamBuffalo and Duquesne were semi-finalists.

Pacific McGeorge Ethics (Taking the year off, but will return in 2019):

South Texas Challenge (March 21-25; 28 teams): Georgia wins over Georgia State. Campbell and Baylor semi-finlists. SMU, St. John’s,  St. Mary’s and UMKC were quarter-finalists.  Chapman, Charleston, Drexel, Faulkner, Houston, South Carolina, Stetson and UC Hastings were octo-finalists.

ABA Employment Law Nationals (January 27-28; 6 teams): St. Thomas (Florida) wins over UC Hastings. Harvard and Northwestern were semi-finalists.

ABA Criminal Justice (March 8-10; 20 teams):  Florida wins over American.  Chicago Kent and Fordham were semi-finalists. Brooklyn, Denver, Golden Gate, and Rutgers were quarter-finalists.

TYLA/ACTL National Trial Competition Nationals (April 5-7; 30 teams):  Wake Forest wins over Wake ForestKentucky and Michigan were semi-finalists. Baylor, Thomas Jefferson, UC Berkeley, and UC Hastings were quarter-finalists.

AAJ STAC Nationals (April 12-14; 14 teams): UC Hastings wins over Akron. Maryland and UCLA were semi-finalists.  Baylor, Drexel, Stetson and Syracuse were quarter-finalists.
